Micky Dolenz

George Michael Dolenz Jr. ( DOH-lənz; born March 8, 1945) is an American musician, singer, and actor. He was one of two primary vocalists for the Monkees (1966–1970, as well as for reunions until 2021), and a co-star of the Emmy-winning TV sitcom The Monkees (1966–1968). Although billed as the drummer, he sang lead vocals on the majority of the Monkees studio recordings and only developed drumming skills after the Monkees' second LP. Dolenz is the last surviving member of the group, following the deaths of Davy Jones in 2012, Peter Tork in 2019, and Michael Nesmith in 2021.
